Some weddings are sweet. Some are fun. But this Lake George wedding? It was next-level. We’re talking breathtaking views, non-stop dancing, surprise performances, and a fireworks finale that left everyone speechless. And none of it would’ve happened without the rockstar planner Christine Wheat and her dream team making sure every moment was flawless.
Ceremony Goals: Strings, Sunshine & Mountain Views
The day kicked off with a stunning ceremony right on the lawn at The Sagamore — picture this: the lake sparkling, mountains in the distance, and the perfect breeze. Our violin and guitar duo set the tone with warm, romantic vibes. The groom and crew strolled in to “I’m Yours,” the bridesmaids floated in to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and the bride made jaws drop walking to “Belong Together.” (Yes, there were happy tears!)
Cocktail Hour: Cool Tunes & Lake Views
Drinks, sunshine, and smooth jams from our keys + sax duo — this cocktail hour hit all the right notes. Guests soaked up the Lake George sunset, snapped a million photos, and geared up for the night ahead.
Reception: Where the Real Party Started
The reception? A full-on celebration from the second the couple made their entrance to “Call on Me.” They crushed a mashup first dance (Brandy + Sweet Dreams = pure genius), and from there the energy just kept building.
And the bride? She owned the night. First she sang with the band. Then she grabbed an electric violin and shredded a solo to “Levels” by Avicii that had the crowd going wild. Iconic doesn’t even begin to cover it.
The dance floor was packed from start to finish — Whitney, Mr. Brightside, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Murder on the Dancefloor… you name it, we played it. Parent dances were sweet, speeches were heartfelt, and the cake moment to “This Will Be” was straight-up adorable.
Oh, and just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any better? Fireworks lit up the Lake George sky. Unreal.
