A Summer Wedding at Westchester Country Club: Love, Live Music & a Party to Remember

TI Fusion Band had the honor of performing for a spectacular summer wedding at the iconic Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. With 200 guests gathered for a day filled with heartfelt moments and unforgettable music, the celebration blended timeless elegance with high-energy fun — the perfect Long Island-area wedding.

Ceremony: A Classical, Romantic Start

The day began with a beautiful church ceremony at St. Augustine Church in Ossining. Our violin and cello duo provided a moving soundtrack as guests arrived, playing Air on a G String by Bach. The processional featured selections like Clair de Lune, Suo Gan, and Loch Lomond, creating an emotional, cinematic atmosphere as the couple walked down the aisle.

Cocktail Hour: Classic Vibes

Guests arrived at the Westchester Country Club’s terrace for cocktails. Our musicians set a relaxed tone, performing a mix of beloved classics — think Billy Joel and timeless hits — as the sun began to set over the grounds.

Reception: A High-Energy Celebration

The reception kicked inside the elegant ballroom. The couple made a grand entrance to Like a Prayer (Miley Cyrus version), which seamlessly launched into a dance set, getting everyone on their feet right from the start.

Following a blessing and dinner, speeches and parent dances were kept short and sweet, with touching choices like Vienna by Billy Joel and Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

A standout moment of the night was the fireworks surprise during the cake cutting, set to Sky Full of Stars. Guests were wowed by the display, and the energy carried through to the couple’s first dance to Unchained Melody, a special song that invited parents and guests to join in by the end.

From there, TI Fusion Band kept the dance floor packed with everything from Dancing Queen, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, and Wake Me Up to Proud Mary, Simply the Best, and 90s pop-punk favorites. The Father of the Bride even grabbed his guitar and joined the band for two show-stopping numbers: Sweet Home Alabama and Can’t You See.

Personal Touches

The couple’s musical taste was clear: a love of Motown, disco, rock, and 90s throwbacks — and a firm no to typical wedding standards like Sweet Caroline or YMCA. Every detail reflected their style, from the curated setlist to the surprise fireworks, making the night uniquely theirs.

A Summer Wedding at Bourne Mansion: Music, Magic & An Unforgettable Party

TI Fusion Band had the absolute pleasure of performing for Nicholas and Julia’s stunning summer wedding at the iconic Bourne Mansion — one of Long Island’s most breathtaking venues. With 180 guests ready to celebrate, the night was set for a perfect blend of elegance and high-energy fun.

Ceremony: A Picture-Perfect Start

The evening began with a romantic outdoor ceremony on the mansion’s grand lawn. Our string duo filled the air with beautiful melodies as guests took their seats. Julia chose classic pieces that fit the setting perfectly — “Canon in D” for her entrance and a joyful “Viva La Vida” for the recessional.

Officiated by Msgr. Jim Lisante, the ceremony was heartfelt, personal, and unforgettable.

Cocktail Hour: Relaxed & Refined

Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace, with live background music creating the perfect mood. The vibe was easy and sophisticated — the calm before the dance floor came to life.

Reception: A Party for the Ages

From the moment Nicholas and Julia made their entrance to “Like a Prayer”, the energy in the room was electric. Their first dance, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You”, started as a sweet duet and opened up to include their guests — the perfect way to kick off the celebration.

One of the most touching moments of the night came during the father-daughter dance. Julia’s dad chose “You’re My Best Friend” — a song he used to play for her as a baby — bringing a beautiful, full-circle moment to the day.

The mother-son dance (“Lovely Day”) and a fun “Dancing Queen” dedication to Julia’s mom Dana kept the energy and love flowing.

From ABBA to Bon Jovi, Queen, The Killers, Lady Gaga and more, the band kept the dance floor packed all night long. The Tarantella was a huge hit, and we closed with “Shout” — the perfect finale before the afterparty kept things going well into the night.
